Our Board of Directors are three appointed members of staff from each of the partner members: Calderdale and Kirklees Local Authorities, National Children's Centre and the University of Huddersfield, plus two independent directors. The Chair of the Board is Stephen Boyd and the Chief Executive is Mr Gerald Hey

C&K Careers works under contract to both Calderdale and Kirklees Councils and in partnership with specialist organisations. C&K Careers brings together a range of services in schools, colleges and our careers centres in Huddersfield, Halifax and Dewsbury to help young people and adults plan their future. We provide employment-related careers, education and training information, advice and guidance to the people of Calderdale, Kirklees and beyond.

Among the company’s other main activities are its well respected and successful training arm, C&K Training, and its Education Business contracts with the local schools and colleges to arrange work experience placements for their students.
